Leonard Cohen Sings his own composition
Some think it is a spiritual song, some think it is a love song, some thing it is semi-pornographic.
Listen to the lyrics and let me know what you think.

Sailor’s Life
Line handling
Making fast
Treading carefully on the wet decks
Deafening winds screaming imprecations so violently
Going aloft
Treacherous climb
Holding on
Thirty footers
Hurricane winds
His work needs to be done
The life of a sailor man
Long hours
Low pay
Salt spray
On liberty
Spending money
Has a girl in every port
Always writes to his Momma
Drinking rum
Having fun

Nostalgia
A clip of a film taken sometime back in the sixties at a dance back in my old hometown of Clark, SD. Watch for the guy in the striped socks.

Almost Pefect
First Date
She was warm and tender, everything I could ask for
I had to be careful because she I could easily adore.
We walked hand in hand in the morning dew
Watching together as the sun came breaking through
Suddenly she seemed inappropriately amused
Despite my pleadings she would not tell me why
Then I realized something not able to be excused
In my haste for our date, I had not zipped my fly.
What she said then, caused me great alarm
Causing my face to turn several shades of red
“The door may have been left open on the barn
But the horse can’t get out if he is already dead!”
