First Date
She was warm and tender, everything I could ask for
I had to be careful because she I could easily adore.
We walked hand in hand in the morning dew
Watching together as the sun came breaking through
Suddenly she seemed inappropriately amused
Despite my pleadings she would not tell me why
Then I realized something not able to be excused
In my haste for our date, I had not zipped my fly.
What she said then, caused me great alarm
Causing my face to turn several shades of red
“The door may have been left open on the barn
But the horse can’t get out if he is already dead!”
