He was never much of a dare devil
He always kept his head on the level
Can’t remember a time he took a risk
He took a walk daily, often quite brisk.
You might even say he kept his nose to the ground
He was undeniably cognizant of all those around.
He believed fervently in all of the laws of safety
He was determined simply to be all he could be.
It is absolutely inexplicable to explain what happened to him
The story in its telling is certainly much too graphic and grim
Though he crossed the tracks safely, he soon began to wail
This dog uncharacteristically forgot to pay attention to de tail.
