The Ballad of Boo & Tibby

Refrain:

Let me tell you about a place in Louisiana
A place some go when they shouldn't oughta
Many a man took his life in his hands
To search there for the elusive Nauga.

I.

One such was Tosclair Boudreaux

He was a simple Cajun

Along with Placide Thibodeaux

Both looking for some fun.

(II)

The idea came to Tibby

While in the bayou fishing

He thought of all he had

And the things he was missing.

(Refrain)

(III)

He thought it about it plenty

Then called up Boo his frien'

"I got something to tell you

And I think you'll like this plan."

(IV)

Boo was a little skeptical

Had known Tibby a long time

Didn't want to hurt his feelings

But suspected he'd lost his mind.

(Refrain)

(V)

Tibby was extremly persuasive

His attitude was entirely too merry

Boo suspected he knew the reason

Too much wine from the Blackberry.

(VI)

They set out with a purpose

Marching along side by side

They passed up the Bopotomus

They wanted only a Nauga hide.

(Refrain)
